Implantable eyelid weights from FCI Ophthalmics are used for the treatment of lagaphthalmos. Thinprofile eyelid implants are 40 percent thinner than the original Contour™ eyelid implants. This provides a sleek, spherical curvature with tapered edges and smooth, rounded corners. For added freedom in suturing position, channel-free 1.0 mm holes are used. Although the time-tested Contour™ eyelid implants are still a highly effective treatment option, ThinProfile implants offer a more aesthetically pleasing treatment for lagaphthalmos.
