Patello-femoral joint arthroplasty (PFA) has been shown to be an alternative treatment for osteoarthritis that is isolated to the anterior compartment of the knee joint. 1 By limiting the reconstruction to the patello-femoral joint, and retaining the soft tissues that contribute to normal knee motion, the procedure can result in the preservation of healthy bone stock and knee kinematics
